Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer is the chance to begin again.

A Neighbor and her two daughters, ages 11 and 14, recently faced the uncertainty of losing their home after an eviction. Despite this setback, she continued working full-time, determined to provide stability for her family.

After weeks of searching, she was approved for a new apartment, giving her family an opportunity for a fresh start. To secure the lease, she needed help covering the move-in costs.

Thanks to the generosity of our parish community, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to provide emergency rental assistance. Our neighbor contributed the remaining balance, making it possible for her family to move into their new home.

Along with the rental assistance, Vincentians included a gift card to help with some of the family’s immediate needs. When she received it, our neighbor was moved to tears by the unexpected kindness. It was a reminder that she and her daughters were not alone and that others cared deeply about their well-being.

This assistance was more than a financial gift—it was a bridge from housing insecurity to stability.

Because of your compassion, another neighbor has been given hope, dignity, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
